TSBTV#68 - Failed Dips
Posted on: May 21, 2009
Let’s face it… uptrends are great for those who enjoy buying dips. That is, while the uptrends persist. Because once they end, the dip buyer ends up feeling like, well… a dip!
The interesting thing about failed dips is the psychology involved in them. They end up resulting in confirmed lower highs, which is of course a downtrend.
But the best part about failed dips? They offer fantastic opportunities for short selling.
So here in Episode 68, I’ll show you a couple examples of failed dips (which I happen to be swing trading on the short side), and offer a simple suggestion to those who enjoy buying the dip. Hope you find it helpful!
