Consolidation plays are among my favorite chart patterns to trade, and often times they prove to be continuation patterns.

However, sometimes a reversal is in the works, and so it’s extremely important as a trader to be able to determine which pullbacks and consolidations can be trusted for continuation plays, and which should be watched closely for possible reversals.

Nothing is guaranteed of course, but in my experience I’ve found a couple of characteristics of these rest phases which help me to determine what I might expect going forward.

So here in Episode 57, I’ll show you a few examples of what I’m referring to in hopes of helping you out with your own chart reading.
